This beautiful antique Victorian pendant was made representing the Suffragette movement, Circa 1900.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!

The wonderful pendant is adorned with two Green Tourmaline, a violet Amethyst and a crescent of lovely cream Pearls.

The Green Tourmaline is a beautiful deep green stone that is believed to channel love and energy to ones heart.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The pendant is all set in 9ct Yellow Gold and hallmarked on the reverse.

This is a very sweet Suffragette piece that would look stunning displayed on a Gold chain!
